How we work at a local level through our committee
Crimestoppers is a charity, so we rely on volunteers to help us with our work. We aim to tell more people about our anonymous phone number, 0800 555 111, and our Anonymous Online Form. If more people know about Crimestoppers and that they can call anonymously with information about crime, we can help to make Bedfordshire a safer place for us all to live and work.
The Bedfordshire committee is well established and has a newly appointed chair Paul Coombes. Paul previously worked for Bedfordshire Constabulary as the Director of Intellgence, so brings some very valuable knowledge and understanding of different crime types and the communities across Bedfordshire.
We're always looking for those living or working in Bedfordshire to join this vibrant committee and help fight crime in their community. Please contact us for more information about becoming a volunteer for Bedfordshire Crimestoppers. We particularly need those with IT skills, someone to take the lead on youth issues and someone with marketing knowledge.
