The Keep in Contact portal

What is the Keep in Contact portal?

The Keep in Contact portal is a 100% anonymous online messaging system, which allows you to answer further questions about the information you have already provided.

The further questions will come from the relevant authorities - Crimestoppers will ensure your anonymity is upheld throughout all communications.

There may be times when information received by Crimestoppers is passed on to our trusted partner organisations. Crimestoppers will only share this information to help keep communities and workplaces safe.

Opting to use the Keep in Contact portal can help clarify details, which can improve the speed and quality of an investigation.

Here's how it works:

  1. Once you have completed our online form, a question at the end will allow you the choice to opt in to use the Keep in Contact portal.
  2. If you decide to opt in, you will be given a unique username (which you need to remember) and additionally you'll need to create a password. In order to make use of the Keep in Contact portal you will need to remember both the unique username (which is automatically generated for you) and password you created to login.
  3. Once you have submitted your form, we will pass your information on to the authorities.
  4. You will need to login to your account within 14 days of creating your account to check for any follow-up questions. If you do not log in within 14 days, or there are no further questions from the authorities, your account will close automatically.
  5. Unfortunately, if your unique username and/or password are not recognised, to protect your anonymity, we’re unable to offer the option to reset your login details.

How to log into the anonymous Keep in Contact portal:

  1. Go to https://crimestoppers-uk.org/anonymous-login
  2. Enter your unique username and password.
  3. Click 'Log in'.

Problems logging in?

  • Check that the unique username and password you have entered are correct.

  • Your account will close automatically in 14 days if you do not log in, or there are no further questions for you from the authorities. Your original information submitted via our online form is unaffected by this outcome.
