Chair / Deputy Chair

Providing overall leadership to committee members, the Chair or Deputy Chair will ensure the team are motivated and effective in promoting the charity’s aims. Nurturing volunteers from varied backgrounds, driving community engagement and encouraging local partnership working are critical, as well as being comfortable with senior level meetings.
Administrator

Working closely with the Chair and Regional Manager and assisting in the committee’s promotion of the Crimestoppers message, the Administrator provides administrative and secretarial support, including ensuring project plans are kept on track. Team player and born organiser essential, as well as mature computer literacy.
Campaign/Event Co-Ordinator Volunteer

Providing leadership on campaigns, projects or events and recruiting, with guidance from the Chair, and with other team members whom you’ll task and co-ordinate. Liaising with police and other partners, you will be proactive and at ease in meeting deadlines and motivating others. Mix of operating from home and travel to meetings.
Community Ambassador Co-Ordinator

Seeking out community-based agencies, assorted organisations and individuals, the Community Ambassador Co-ordinator will recruit and support them as Community Ambassadors to reach as many people in as many communities as possible, to promote the Crimestoppers message. Comfortable irrespective of seniority, you will have highly developed interpersonal and networking skills.
Area Co-Ordinator
Essex, Humberside, Lincolnshire (one opportunity, covering West Lindsey, North Kesteven, Boston and South Kesteven), Norfolk, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Suffolk, Surrey (11 opportunities covering Runnymede, Spelthorne, Elmbridge, Waverley, Woking, Guildford, Tandridge, Reigate & Banstead, Epsom & Ewell, Surrey Heath, and Mole Valley), West Yorkshire.
Responsible for delivering Crimestoppers activity in the area of the county you live in, you will, with support from the Chair, work with a pool of volunteers who will help you to attend events, deliver campaigns, fundraise and spread the Crimestoppers message throughout the area you represent.
Fearless Committee and Community Volunteer
Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire & Isle of Wight, Humberside, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Scotland, Suffolk, Surrey (three roles available, covering North, East and West Surrey), South Yorkshire, Sussex, Wiltshire.
This role involves assisting the Regional Manager and/or Fearless Worker with the local delivery of Crimestoppers’ work with young people, using Fearless specific materials in the community. This may involve attending local community events such as holding stalls at Freshers' Fairs at colleges, Premier League Kickz events, and other similar activities. Background checks will be needed and training given.
Finance Role

Ideal for someone with experience or an interest in working with financial systems, the Finance Volunteer manages the local committee’s funds and generally takes the lead in financial planning to ensure value for money and effective delivery of local campaigns. Opportunities, too, for raising Crimestoppers' profile at assorted events.
Fundraiser Role

Raising funds for the committee to deliver campaigns and events, the Fundraiser will be an effective networker, developing positive relationships with local businesses and potential donors, as well as identifying suitable trust funders. A confident, persuasive personality and a good organiser would enjoy this role.
Media Marketing Volunteer

An exciting role promoting the Crimestoppers message with relevant and interesting content for use across all social media platforms, to ensure we reach a wide range of diverse local audiences and stakeholders. Ideal role to operate mainly from home, if preferred. An articulate and effective all-round communicator would be great.
Support Volunteer
