Mrs Morris was murdered at her home overnight on the 24 and 25 March in 1994. Her remains were found in a bedroom at her home, and several items that had been stolen from the property were found across various locations in the surrounding area.
The property was set alight after it was believed to have been broken into via a locked back door.

“We know that sometimes it’s too difficult for people to go to the police about what they know – and that can be for a range of reasons including fear of intimidation or loyalties. However, this case is absolutely tragic and, with so many years passing, relatives of Doreen and the wider community deserve to know what happened – and who was responsible.
“If you don’t want to speak to the police, please contact charity Crimestoppers. We are independent and guarantee that you will stay 100% anonymous – that means no police, no courts, no witness statements. Tell us what you know and you’re done. We’ll pass it on for you.
“Please call our UK Contact Centre on 0800 555 111 or fill in an easy-to-use online form anonymously. After so many years, if you’ve held on to information that could help bring justice for Doreen, now is your opportunity to right the wrong, out of tragedy, and make a difference.”
Hayley Fry, Crimestoppers Wales Manager
