We are offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information on those responsible for the spike in burglaries in St Albans.

Since the beginning of October, 113 burglaries have happened across St Albans City and District compared to 91 for the same period last year.  This is an increase of 25 per cent and an additional 22 victims.  Despite a number of significant arrests, an increased number of covert and overt patrols across the district and directed crime prevention events in the city these crimes are occurring.

We are now offering the reward for information leads to the arrest and charge of any individuals that are responsible for the incidents.

“There are people out there who know who is responsible for these burglaries and I would urge you to contact Crimestoppers.
“We don’t take personal details and we can’t trace information given online or on the phone. We don’t want to know who you are, just what you know. You won’t even have to give up your identity to claim your reward."
