£20,000 reward to help solve murder of Hereford man Christian Bagley on 10th anniversary of his death
As the 10th anniversary approaches of the tragic and unsolved murder of Christian Bagley in Hereford, and as an independent charity, we're offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information from the public that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Christian’s murder.
On the night of Sunday, 21 June 2015 - Father’s Day - Christian, aged 30, was stabbed as he walked home towards Hunderton Bridge, along Villa Street in the direction of the river path and the Great Western Way, known locally as ‘The Lines’. Christian had spent the evening visiting his then 19-month-old daughter at his ex-partner’s house. His daughter, now 12 years old, has grown up without her real father in her life.
After being attacked near the concrete steps leading to ‘The Lines’, Christian managed to stagger to Charles Witts Avenue to seek help. Despite the swift arrival of emergency services, he sadly died from his injuries. The weapon used, believed to be a kitchen carving knife, remained embedded in his left arm, while the handle - snapped off during the attack - has never been found.
No one has ever been charged with Christian’s murder. Although several suspects were identified in 2016, they were later released without charge and the case remains unsolved.
