New video reveals ‘devastation’ of murdered teen’s parents as bounty doubled to £20,000

Last summer, the lives of a promising teenager’s parents changed forever.

Angela and Gary Daulby from Lydiate, Merseyside, lost their son following a knife attack on a street in Ormskirk. He was just 19 years old and was knifed in the chest and the head during the attack on 29^th July 2023.

Matthew had left home that night with his girlfriend to join other friends, saying to his parents “we won’t be long”.

Most Wanted: suspect Thomas Dures

Whilst one man has been jailed for striking Matthew’s head with a rock in a sock, during a trial at Preston Crown Court, the prosecution said that the fatal stab wound was yielded by someone else.

Our charity initially offered £10,000 to find Thomas Dures, who is wanted for questioning. The amount has now been doubled after being matched by Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.

A boosted bounty of up to £20,000 is now available for information our charity receives that leads to the arrest of Thomas Dures. It’s believed that he is being assisted in evading arrest.
