Most Wanted: £20,000 to find Mohamoud Abdi in connection with Cardiff attempted murder
We are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information given anonymously to us that leads to the arrest of Mohamoud Abdi, wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Cardiff.
Mohamoud Abdi, also known as ‘Hozay’, is wanted after a violent assault in July 2022, where he repeatedly stabbed a man not known to him, at a party in the Grangetown area of Cardiff.
The attack is believed to have been sudden and caused serious injury to the victim. Abdi, who lives in Cardiff, is thought to have fled the area to avoid arrest.
The public are advised not to approach Abdi, but if they have seen him or know where he is hiding, to contact our charity. We are independent from the police and we guarantee everyone stays completely anonymous.

Claiming a reward:
The reward will only be payable for information passed directly to Crimestoppers and not to the police. A reward code must be asked for when calling our charity on 0800 555 111. If you contact Crimestoppers via our anonymous online form, the 'Keep in contact’ portal must be used and a reward code must be requested on your initial contact.
