£20,000 reward offered to find those responsible for fatal Birmingham collision

We're offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a fatal road traffic collision involving a Vauxhall Meriva, an Audi A4, and a parked vehicle on Friday, August 1, 2025, on Stratford Road, Birmingham, near the junction with Ladypool Road.

Map of the location

A 22-year-old man who was a passenger in the Vauxhall Meriva was taken to hospital but later died. Police still need to identify the two other occupants of the Vauxhall Meriva, including the driver. All the occupants of the Audi have been identified. Three other people were also hurt.

As a charity, independent of the police, we're urging anyone who has information about those involved, no matter how small it may seem, to come forward. All information can be given completely anonymously and could be vital in securing justice and answers for their family.

Do you have information which could help? You can tell us what you know and remain 100% anononymous - no police, no courts, no witness statements. Call free any time of day or night on 0800 555 111 or fill in our quick and easy online form, here on our website:

Give information anonymously

"This was a devastating collision that has left a family grieving and a community in shock. We know that speaking up is not always easy, especially when fear or loyalty gets in the way. That’s why we guarantee anonymity – no names, no trace, no comeback. If you know something, please contact us.

“Crimestoppers is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We cannot trace your call or track your IP address. No one will ever know you contacted us. This means no police, no courts, no witness statements. You may think your information is insignificant, however it could make all the difference.”

Alan Edwards, Crimestoppers' West Midlands Regional Manager

Claiming a reward: The reward will only be payable for information passed directly to Crimestoppers and not to the police. A reward code must be asked for when calling us on 0800 555 111.
