Safe Street

Welcome to Safe Street, our fictional street promoting home and community safety.

Our fictional friends on Safe Street work together to keep their loved ones, homes and neighbourhood safe and secure. From setting up a local Neighbourhood Watch, to investing in the latest home security tech, or even becoming a Crimestopper with our charity’s volunteering scheme, the residents of Safe Street have peace of mind knowing that:

  • The only nocturnal visitor is Mr Meow the cat having some night-time adventures.
  • The only thing getting raided is the fridge, for a secret piece of delicious chocolate cake at midnight…
  • The only theft taking place is of the TV remote control.
  • The only home invasion is friends arriving to attend a neighbour’s party. Surprise!

Crimestoppers wants to share top tips on how to keep your home and local community safe with fellow safety superheroes Neighbourhood Watch and Ring, because when we all work as a team, we can help make communities safer together.

Safe Street can be a reality.

Why not volunteer with Crimestoppers to help keep your street safe? Whether you’re a marketing marvel, a logistics legend or a fundraising phenomenon, your skills can make a massive difference in your community. Click to see what our volunteers have to say and find out how to get involved.

Want to get the lowdown on how you and your neighbours can create a safe street? Read more from our partner Neighbourhood Watch and their abundance of helpful guides on the various issues that affect our local areas.

Thinking of letting some supersmart tech do the heavy lifting when it comes to keeping your home safe and secure? Our protection pals at Ring have got you covered. Whilst we can’t guarantee you’ll capture anything as fun as this on a video doorbell (trust us, it’s worth a click), by doing what you can to protect your home, you’re freeing up time to focus on enjoying time with your loved ones.

And remember, if you ever have information on a real crime and want to stay anonymous, you can always call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or fill in our easy-to-use online form, here on our website. Our team are here 24/7, 365 days a year, and we'll never ask who you are, never judge, or ask how you know about a crime. We’re just here to help you make a difference and keep your community safe.

In an emergency, always call 999.
