We’re offering a reward of up to £10,000 to help find the suspects responsible for setting fire to a mosque on Phyllis Avenue in Peacehaven, Sussex.

The building was significantly damaged by the blaze, which occurred during the evening of Saturday 4 October 2025.

People who were inside the mosque at the time of the attack managed to escape unharmed after hearing a commotion at the front door and seeing the flames.

CCTV footage shows two people wearing masks and dark clothing who approached the front door before spraying accelerant on the entrance of the mosque and igniting a fire.

As an independent charity, Crimestoppers is supporting the investigation by offering up to £10,000 for information we exclusively receive that leads to the conviction of anyone involved in this arson attack.
