Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information given exclusively to our charity that leads to the arrest of Thomas Dures. It follows the murder of 19-year-old Matthew Daulby who was from Merseyside. 

Matthew was killed after being stabbed to death in Ormskirk town centre in Lancashire on Saturday 29 July 2023. His parents have described their son as “a vibrant, loving and funny teenager" who had "a huge zest for life".  He was about to start a management apprenticeship. 

Thomas Dures is wanted in connection with Matthew’s murder as part of the investigation. 

Members of the public are advised not to approach Dures, but to contact Crimestoppers anonymously if they know where he is hiding. In an emergency, always dial 999.

Claiming a reward:

The reward will only be payable for information passed directly to Crimestoppers and not to the police. A reward code must be asked for when calling the charity on 0800 555 111. If you contact Crimestoppers via the anonymous online form, the 'Keep in contact’ portal must be used and a reward code must be requested on your initial contact with the charity.

This reward is available until 18 April 2024 as rewards offered for specific cases normally expire after three months.
