Do you have information about what happened to Vicky Glass, murdered 26 years ago?
Vicky Glass's body was found on the outskirts of a North Yorkshire village in November 2000, just days after her 21st birthday. 26 years on, we at independent charity Crimestoppers are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information about her death.
Victoria “Vicky” Glass
We're appealing for anyone who has not yet shared information to contact us, which you can do 100% anonymously - guaranteed.
Vicky was last seen at around 4.30 am on Union Street in Middlesbrough on 24 September 2000. A missing person investigation began, but this changed to a murder inquiry when her body was found near Danby on 3 November 2000.
Despite extensive enquiries, and a large number of witnesses who have been spoken to over the years, nobody was ever charged or convicted of her murder. To encourage anyone with information to come forward, Crimestoppers is now offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
Do you have any information regarding this tragic case? If you know something, after all this time, now is the time to share it. You can tell us what you know and remain 100% anonymous - you don't need to speak to the police.

In over a quarter of a century, circumstances may have changed. Friendships end, loyalties shift and people who once may have felt unable to speak may now feel differently. We're urging anyone who has held on to information, however insignificant or long ago it may seem, to come forward.
“Vicky’s family have lived without answers for decades. If fear, a relationship or loyalty to someone stopped you speaking at the time, your circumstances may now be different.
“You do not need to give us your name. If you have information, even if you are unsure how it fits into the investigation, please tell Crimestoppers what you know. A detail you may think is small could help.”
Fleur Brown, Crimestoppers Regional Manager for North East England.
We particularly want to hear from anyone with information about Vicky’s movements around 24 September 2000, or the circumstances leading up to the discovery of her body near Danby on 3 November 2000.
Note: Information must be passed directly Crimestoppers - not to the police - to qualify for a reward.
Anonymity:
We guarantee complete anonymity, meaning that people who call or contact us online can pass on what they know without ever giving any personal details. Computer IP addresses are never traced. Telephone calls are never recorded, there is no caller line display and no 1471 facility.
Claiming a reward:
The reward will only be payable for information passed directly to Crimestoppers and not to the police. A reward code must be asked for when calling us on 0800 555 111.
