The difference we make

We rely heavily on our supporters and beneficiaries, who are keen to see the impact of our work. We publish an annual Impact Report that outlines top level stuff – for example, how we are thinking and working strategically, and how we continue to help make our communities and businesses safer.

It shows how we make a real difference by helping more than 827,000 people who trust us to pass on vital information about crime each year - 100% anonymously.

There may be times when information received by Crimestoppers is passed on to our trusted partner organisations. Crimestoppers will only share this information to help keep communities and workplaces safe.

Our Impact Report 2025/26 highlights our unique work over the past year helping the public to speak up about crime.

Highlights include:

Driving quality information: more than 268,000 pieces of information sent to the police.
Making a difference with our campaigns and rewards across the nations and regions.
The growing success of our youth service Fearless, which reached more than two million young people and the professionals who support them.
How our people smuggling campaign encouraged vulnerable communities to come forward safely.
How a campaign against money laundering led to a 42% increase in reports.
The impact of our work tackling illegal vapes and disrupting criminal activity.
Real-life examples of anonymous information helping to safeguard children, protect victims and remove dangerous criminals from our communities.
The dedication of our volunteers, who gave more than 10,000 hours of their time to support our charity.
