New Crimestoppers Zones launched across Wales

Crimestoppers Zones: speak up about crime in your community – 100% anonymously.
Crimestoppers Wales is launching nine new Crimestoppers Zones across Wales.
Crimestoppers Zones are designed to empower communities to speak up about crime that is affecting the areas they live. They are visible reminders that everyone has a role to play in keeping their neighbourhood safe, and that you can share information with us 100% anonymously.

Crimestoppers is not part of the police. We are an independent charity. We do not ask for your name. We do not trace your call. We do not track your IP address. What you tell us is passed securely to the relevant police force, without anyone knowing it came from you.
What can you report?
You can contact Crimestoppers about a wide range of crimes and concerns, including:
- Drug dealing and county lines activity
- Organised crime and exploitation
- The use or carrying of weapons
- Violence and serious assaults
- Burglary and vehicle crime
- Exploitation of vulnerable people
If something doesn't feel right in your area, you can speak up. Even small pieces of information can help build a bigger picture.
Do you have information, but don't want to speak to the police? You can tell us what you know and remain 100% anonymous - guaranteed.

Why Crimestoppers Zones matter
Crimestoppers Zones are placed in areas where communities have told us crime is having a real impact. By increasing awareness of anonymous reporting, we aim to grow intelligence in areas of under reporting and high harm.
When more people feel confident to share what they know, it helps police and partners take action. That can lead to arrests, safeguarding of vulnerable people, disruption of organised crime and visible improvements locally.
These Zones are not just signs on lampposts. They are part of a wider commitment to work with local partners, community groups, housing providers and councils to strengthen community confidence and encourage people to use the anonymous service.
The new Crimestoppers Zones
The nine new Zones being launched across Wales are located in:
- Ely, Cardiff
- Llanedeyrn, Cardiff
- Tyshia, Llanelli, and Glan-y-mor Carmarthen
- Five Zones across Neath Port Talbot
Each Zone has been developed in partnership with local stakeholders to ensure it reflects local priorities and supports wider crime reduction work already taking place.
