£20,000 reward offered after firework kills dad in Birmingham home
Reward offered after firework attack kills dad in his Birmingham family
We are appealing for information to help bring justice for Tony Nicholls, who tragically lost his life in a horrific arson attack in Tile Cross, Birmingham in November 2017.
On the night of 2 November 2017, Tony Nicholls and his partner were enjoying a takeaway at their home on Birchtrees Crescent when a group of men burst into the property. The attackers set off a large 200-shot commercial firework inside the house. The resulting blaze gutted the property leaving Tony with severe burns from which he later died. His partner also suffered serious injuries after escaping through a first-floor window.
Despite extensive investigations, the case remains unsolved, and Tony’s loved ones continue to seek answers and justice.

“This was an appalling attack that cost an innocent man his life. It’s deeply disturbing that those responsible have never been brough to justice, and Tony’s family continues to live with the pain of not knowing who did this.
“If you know anything, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously. You could hold crucial information that can finally help resolve this tragedy and allow Tony’s family to seek the justice they deserve.”
