The session brought together 65 attendees and highlighted the essential role Crimestoppers plays in helping people speak up about crime safely and anonymously. From tackling serious violence to protecting vulnerable individuals, the briefing demonstrated how anonymous information from the public continues to make a real difference – without ever revealing who provided it.Safer Together poster

Attendees also learned more about the wider work of Crimestoppers in Wiltshire, including:

  • Fearless, our youth service that empowers young people to make informed choices and speak up safely
  • The Community Ambassador Programme, which enables local people to raise awareness of Crimestoppers in their area
  • A range of volunteering opportunities, offering residents a chance to get involved and help build safer communities
  • The event showcased how we can work together to create a safer Wiltshire for all by strengthening links between local authorities, community leaders and Crimestoppers,

When people speak up, lives are saved. And in Wiltshire, and across the UK, we’re proud to be making that happen every day.
