Help to keep communities safe by volunteering with our charity

Volunteering with Crimestoppers

We are proud to have volunteers from all communities across the UK who support our charity. At Crimestoppers, we believe in the power of people to stop crime.

People choose to volunteer for Crimestoppers for a variety of reasons. Some have been personally affected by crime, for others it offers the chance to give something back to the community and make a difference to the people around them. For many it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge and meet new people.

Through volunteering, you will help to give a voice to people who don’t feel able to speak up and those who are vulnerable.

Our volunteers are active across all communities, using their personal networks and building new relationships to promote our services to the people who need us the most.

Everyone is welcome to be part of our team. In each local area we have general advocates and more specific roles in leadership, administration, communications, fundraising and outreach.

We value and recognise the work of our volunteers – learn about our Volunteer Awards.
