Warning: Vulnerable people are targeted, groomed & exploited by drug gangs
The campaign emphasizes how to pass on what you know 100% anonymously about criminals harming people in the local area.
Organised drug gangs exploiting young people and vulnerable adults is an increasing problem. Often the public or friends and families of those drawn into their activities are unaware of what signs to look out for that it is happening.
Tell us what you know 100% anonymously about criminal gang, by calling 0800 555 111 at any time or by completing a secure online form or via Fearless.org for young people, where more can also be learnt about the warning signs of drug gang activity.
Fearless.org offers young people non-judgemental advice so they can make informed decisions about lifestyle choices and realise that they have an alternative option when reporting crime.
“We know that drug gangs use violence and intimidation to coerce individuals to do what they want them to do. This level of exploitation often leads to people feeling they have become trapped, and not knowing how to get out of the situation they find themselves in.
“We are asking the public to remain vigilant to the signs of grooming and the three grooming stages of targeting, testing and trapping.
“Our charity is appealing to everyone to tell us what they know 100% anonymously about organised drug gangs. We have always kept our promise of anonymity to everyone who contacts us.
“We are also encouraging people to pass on concerns they have about vulnerable people directly to the local authority or police, to protect vulnerable members of our community.”
