Easy Read leaflet about Crimestoppers

Working with the national charity Camphill Village Trust, we now have an Easy Read leaflet, which explains how information can be given to our charity 100% anonymously.

The leaflet was co-produced with adults that have learning disabilities and autism, along with staff at the Trust.

Crimestoppers gives people the power to speak up to stop crime by phoning 0800 555 111 and completing a safe and secure online form 24/7, 365 days a year.

“I would like to thank the Voices of Larchfield at Camphill Village Trust, for taking on this project of producing a Crimestoppers Easy Read leaflet.

“Their enthusiasm, hard work, along with great teamwork and dedication, has ensured that we reach all communities across the UK, which will enable even more people to give information to our charity 100% anonymously.”

Fleur Brown
Crimestoppers North East Regional Manager

“At Crimestoppers our mission is that everyone has the right to feel safe from crime and that includes everyone knowing how to access our services. Easy Read resource, the first for Crimestoppers, is just one of the number of ways in which we share knowledge of our charity far and wide.

“We want everyone to be able to report information on crime whether it be to the Police or to Crimestoppers and this resource is another example of how we can reach all members in our communities.”

Lydia Patsalides
Crimestoppers East Midlands Regional Manager

“It’s important for everyone to be able to feel safe and Crimestoppers do a really good job in helping people feel safe from crime.

“Helping to make their information more understandable was hard work, but we enjoyed it a lot. It feels good to help other people and especially a really important charity like Crimestoppers.”
