We’re proud to be a strategic partner of the Bank of England’s Banknote Checking Scheme.

Set up in October 2017 to support businesses and help retailers tackle counterfeit banknotes, any business can sign up as a supporter of the Scheme free of charge by filling in this form

The Scheme encourages all types of cash-handing businesses to pledge their support for six guiding principles:

Supporters have access to advice and a range of education and training materials to help shape banknote checking within their business. These include leaflets, posters, online training and targeted advice, along with updates on relevant banknote topics, such as the issue of new-style banknotes and withdrawal of old-style banknotes.
