Catching criminals in the Netherlands

Opreturnsept2015Operation Return is a multi-agency campaign involving Crimestoppers, the National Crime Agency, Bel M (Dutch Crimestoppers), and Dutch law enforcement.

The campaign has involved three batches of appeals being released, totalling 14 appeals.

Of the 14 fugitives, nine have been located. The remaining fugitives are wanted for serious crimes committed in the UK but who are now believed to be in and around the city of Amsterdam.

The list includes some of the UK’s most dangerous criminals wanted for crimes relating to drug smuggling, rape and unlawful wounding.

Our international crime-fighting work began in Spain in October 2006 when Operation Captura was launched in Malaga.

We are working with Bel M, the Netherlands’ Crimestoppers programme, in helping law enforcement to track down UK criminals on the run in the Netherlands.

We urge the public to pass on any information they may have on these individuals to us anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or by using our Anonymous Online Form.

You can view all of the current Most Wanted individuals in our gallery.
