Head of Business Development & Fundraising

Wallington, Greater London
£55,000 and benefits

We're looking for a Head of Business Development & Fundraising; someone who is able to sell Crimestoppers’ commercial services to prospects and upsell to existing partners.

You'd be working closely with/supporting Business Development Account Managers and support functions (Marcoms, Contact Centre, Legal/Finance) within the organisation to ensure the smooth implementation of new partnerships in line with our charitable objectives. 

Key responsibilities

  1. Takes a lead in developing partnerships that address major Crimestoppers’ crime priorities in line with our strategy.
  2. Take the lead on the cultivation of new leads by developing own income networks, maximising opportunities through existing third-party relationships, and Crimestoppers’ events.
  3. Play a key role in shaping, reviewing/revising etc. the commercial income strategy, supporting the Business Development Director.

We’re looking for someone with…

  1. Proven ability in new business sales and closing deals that deliver return on investment (ROI) targets.
  2. Honed communication skills for internal, commercial, statutory, non-statutory, trade body associations.
  3. Experience of working in a Business to Business (B2B) selling environment.
