Our new resource to raise awareness of child sexual abuse and harmful sexual behaviour

Fearless child sexual abuse & harmful behaviour booklet

Our new Fearless youth service resource, for professionals working with young people, to raise awareness of child sexual abuse and harmful sexual behaviour, has been downloaded over 700 times since its launch on 18 January this year.

This resource, targeted at professionals working in the UK, provides information about child sexual abuse and exploitation, as well as harmful sexual behaviour. It includes definitions, advice on how to spot the signs, and guidance to support young people affected by sexual harms.

It can be used to aid with discussions with young people and to stimulate debate and encourage conversation around each harm type and giving information to our charity about crime 100% anonymously.

Fearless, the youth service of Crimestoppers, is committed to empowering young people to make informed choices about crime that affects them and their communities.

Our website Fearless.org allows young people to access non-judgemental information and advice about crime and criminality, and also offers a safe place to give information completely anonymously about crime.

In addition to our website, Fearless also runs workshops in schools and for community youth groups, as well as providing training to youth professionals nationally.

If you are a professional that works with young people and you would like to attend a future Fearless training session, find out more on our website.
