Full Details

The owner of Silcox Rental Company based in PEMBROKE DOCK, reported to Police that on 11/09/2023, a female used the name Lia ATTIAS attended the premises to rent a vehicle from them. The vehicle is a KIA SPORTAGE with registration BU18 BGO, the car is valued at approximately £13,000.
ATTIAS initially rented the car for a 24-hour period paying £65 for the rental with a £250 deposit. A rental contract was provided for her to return the vehicle on the 12/09/2023 at 14:00

ATTIAS did not return the vehicle on the 12/09/2023 at 14:00 when the car was due back, a call was made to ATTIAS who answered and told SILCOX rental company she was running late and would return it later that day, the car was not returned on 12/09/2023. On 13/09/2023, further calls were made to ATTIAS to no avail. The car was not returned in the coming days and the company could not contact ATTIAS.
SILCOX have then found that ATTIAS was recently employed at a local hotel but had recently mutually agreed to leave. The hotel checked ATTIAS’s room, and her belongings were gone. The hotel also said that the name they had for the female was not ATTIAS, it was -

On 05/10/2023 the vehicle was stopped in NORTH YORKSHIRE and the suspect was arrested. The vehicle was recovered. NORTH YORKSHIRE Police interviewed TONYE on behalf of Dyfed-Powys. TONYE admitted to the offence of Taking a Vehicle Without Consent. She was then released under investigation and was issued a Postal Requisition for the offence of Taking a Vehicle Without Consent on 11/11/2023
