About us
Angela Parker
Hello, I’m Angela, the National Manager for Crimestoppers in Scotland.
My role is to work with communities and partners to help raise awareness of our unique anonymous service, and empower people to speak up about the crime.
I have always worked in the charity sector and in this job, I really enjoy seeing how the power of anonymity makes life better for so many people in our communities.

Our work
Our charity in Scotland works closely with Scottish Government’s Building Safer Communities, Police Scotland, and a whole range of other partners to help keep you and your community safer.
Through our campaigns, events, volunteer support and Fearless youth programme, we aim to make Scotland a safer place to live.
More than ever, communities need our unique guarantee of anonymity, and we are grateful to those who trust us with their information about crime.
Between April 2021 and March 2022, Crimestoppers and Fearless:
- Received 16,328 pieces of anonymous information that were sent to Police Scotland & other law enforcement agencies for them to investigate. As a result of this information, 357 criminals were arrested and charged, five with murder/unlawful killings.
- Achieved more than 900 positive outcomes for people, an increase of 20% on the previous year. These positive outcomes take various forms - for instance, it could mean that some safeguarding was put in place for our most vulnerable, a referral to a supportive organisation was made, or an intervention occurred.
We campaign on issues that can often harm the most vulnerable in our communities. From drug dealing to exploitation via County Lines, our campaigns encourage people to report anonymously, and also help inform people on what to do; from spotting the key signs of crimes to being an active bystander.
Our work on domestic violence and drink driving demonstrates the power of ‘doing the right thing’ without having to speak to the police.
Over the years, anonymous contacts to our charity have prevented drunk drivers from getting behind the wheel or victims facing another abusive or violent incident at home.

About us
Lyndsay McDade
I’m Lyndsay, and I’m the Fearless National Manager in Scotland.
I work with young people and professionals to raise awareness of Fearless, our youth service for 11-18 year olds. This means most of my time is spent creating social media campaigns with young people for young people and developing partnerships with youth-based organisations.
I’ve spent my whole career working for charities that focus on improving outcomes for children and young people.
Donald Tumilowicz
I'm Donald, Senior Fearless Outreach Worker for Fearless in Scotland.
My role is based out in communities, helping young people to understand the importance of speaking up and challenging the stigma around it.
Fearless is our dedicated youth service.
We provide young people aged 11 – 18 years with key information about crime, and give them a safe place to speak up with information 100% anonymously online or by calling us on 0800 555 111.
Equipping young people with knowledge of our unique service empowers them to make their lives and communities safer. It is a tangible, positive tool to help support them to make positive choices as they grow into adulthood.
Last year over 136,000 young people from all over Scotland visited our website - but we believe that every young person should know our service exists, and YOU can help us do that by sharing what we do with the young people you look after and work with.
