The difference our charity makes to our stoppers and supporters
Last year, we helped more than 720,000 people who trusted us to pass on vital information about crime – 100% anonymously.
Our Impact Report 2023/24 highlights our unique work over the past year helping the public to speak up about crime.

In our 2023/24 edition, highlights include:
- Driving quality information: an impressive rise in the number and quality of reports which have more than doubled in a decade.
- Making a difference with our campaigns and rewards across the nations and regions.
- Real-life case studies – anonymised and taken from the thousands of reports we receive.
- Rooting out police corruption: how a pilot scheme for London went national.
- And an update on the fantastic efforts of our volunteers.
Our charity is proud to be expert at breaking down the barriers that keep those with crime information silent. We have learnt a great deal over the decades. Now, an average of over 2,000 people are contacting us online or on the phone every day.
They are proactively choosing the Crimestoppers option – often in the face of fears over revenge attacks or other consequences.
We thank them all for taking what is often a courageous step.
