£20,000 reward to solve 1989 murder of Southampton man

We are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information given anonymously to our charity that leads to the arrest and conviction of anybody responsible for the historical murder of Southampton man Richard Haywood.

On Monday 16th October 1989, Richard, commonly known as Ricky, was just 36-years-old when he was killed in his flat above Ambiance Jewellers on Shirley Road.

Detectives have reopened the investigation into murder. Ricky was shot numerous times at close range. To date no one has been charged with his murder.
 
Advancements in forensic science over the past 35 years will allow investigators to review all evidence available to them.
