We mark 15-year partnership with LINK protecting the public from ATM crime

LINK

Crimestoppers and LINK continue to see huge benefits of working together to help keep the public safe and to protect our communities across the UK.

The partnership between LINK and our charity began in 2008 and, since that time, has led to many campaigns focused on helping to protect the public from cash machine crimes that affect communities up and down the country.

Give us information 100% anonymously about crime.

Recent campaigns focussed on ATM distraction theft and ATM physical attacks, raising awareness of the signs to spot and giving options on how to report.

The information we pass on helps law enforcement build a bigger picture and enables them to take action.

LINK was a lead supporter of the Crimestoppers rural crime campaign in 2021 which helped tackle wildlife and environment crime. The campaign urged people to speak up anonymously about gangs or individuals who were exploiting the environment and harming rural communities.

“Our partnership with LINK shows how, by working together, our two organisations can share the same values, support each other, and more importantly, benefit the wider community.”

Ruth McNee, Crimestoppers Head of Business, Growth and Fundraising

“We’re delighted that our partnership with Crimestoppers is going from strength to strength.

"Tackling crime is always a challenge but partnerships and cooperation are the best way to make sure we have safer communities which is as important as ever.”
