Crimestoppers working in partnership with Merseyside Police to reduce business crime

Crimestoppers has joined together with Merseyside Police to reach out to the business community in order to help reduce crimes affecting businesses at a time when many people are struggling financially.

A Business Crime week of action has been organised by Merseyside Police between Monday 17th and Friday 21st October 2022, when businesses will be encouraged to learn more about preventing crime.

This week has been chosen, as traditionally this is when we start to see an increase in crimes against business. it's also sufficiently far enough away from the busy Christmas period to allow businesses to support the week of action without adversely affecting their trading.

This is a joint initiative bringing together Crimestoppers, the police, retailers, security companies, and local authorities to work in partnership and deliver a targeted and robust response to retail crime.
