Bournemouth: £5,000 reward for information on street robbery of family heirloom watch

A reward of up to £5,000 is being offered through our charity for anonymous information on the robbery of a watch, which leads to an arrest and its safe return.

On Saturday 25 June 2022, the victim, a 50-year-old male, was boarding a taxi on Stafford Road in Bournemouth town centre after celebrating a birthday with friends.

At around 12.45am, the victim was approached by an unknown male, who forcibly unclasped and removed the watch, a family heirloom, from his wrist, before making an escape on foot along Lorne Park Road.

The suspect is described as being around 5ft 8”, in his late 20s with a North African appearance. He was wearing glasses and a shiny dark-coloured puffer style body-warmer.

The stolen watch is a Patek Philippe Nautilus on a black strap.

“Our charity is here to help and gives people the option of staying anonymous while doing the right thing. Every day, over a thousand people use our online form or call our UK Contact Centre on freephone 0800 555 111. We’ve kept our promise of anonymity to everyone who trusts us since we began over 30 years ago.

“Someone knows who is responsible for this crime, or somebody may have seen something that can help to convict this individual. This watch, a family heirloom, has huge sentimental value to the victim and he would like it back. Contact us 100% anonymously with what you know and you may be eligible for this reward.”
