Euros domestic abuse & drink driving warning – 3 true stories

Euros crime warning

We recently launched a campaign to highlight the risk of domestic abuse and drug and drink driving increasing during the Euros, to encourage those who see it happening to report perpetrators to our charity 100% anonymously.

During the last football World Cup and Euros, there was a large increase in information given to our charity anonymously about both crimes.

recent study showed that when England lose a match, domestic abuse rises by 38% - when England wins it rises by 26%, and 11 per cent the following day, whether England win or lose.

Below is a small sample of crimes solved by passing information to our charity, which shows our real impact.

Please note that details of these cases have been changed to protect the identity of those involved. This is in line with our promise of total anonymity to everyone who contacts us.
