Whistleblowers stay anonymous and safe with Crimestoppers

Whistleblowing concerns

Recent events have shown that whistleblowers are not being adequately protected in the workplace, especially when it comes to the public sector and the NHS.

Our charity is proud to support over 50 organisations by providing vital speak up, whistleblowing and integrity lines.

We have decades of experience and know how hard it can be to step forward and share concerns about crime occurring at work.

Crimestoppers’ cast-iron guarantee of anonymity reassures those who may otherwise be afraid of coming forward, especially when the allegations have serious consequences.

Police force internal lines

Among those private and public sector organisations who have commissioned us to provide whistleblowing services, there are now more police forces recognising the need for internal or so-called `integrity lines’. Indeed, the majority of police forces across the UK have now signed up to Crimestoppers’ internal whistleblowing services.

There have been increasing calls in the media for organisations to go further to strengthen protections for workers. It follows allegations that those who speak up are being ignored or marginalised by colleagues.
