Wiltshire: Reward to find those behind fatal stabbing of teenager Owen Dunn

We are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those linked to the murder of Owen Dunn last December.

On Sunday 4 December, 18-year-old Owen was cycling to meet his girlfriend from his home address at around 1.30pm. He was approached by two young men also riding bikes on Mazurek Way, Haydon End in North Swindon. The two men were dressed in black, with balaclavas over their faces. It is believed one said ”who’s that”, referring to Owen, before both pulled out knives.

Owen was then stabbed once in the chest which caused a wound to his heart. Despite the best efforts from members of the public, Owen died almost instantly. The pair jumped back on their bikes and quickly left the scene.

Although someone has been charged with Owen’s murder, the police are continuing with their investigations.

***Crimestoppers – which is independent of the police - is supporting this investigation by offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information we exclusively receive either online or by calling freephone 0800 555 111 that leads to the arrest of anyone linked to the murder of Owen Dunn. Information can also be given anonymously via Fearless.org, the youth service of our charity.***

The public are encouraged to get in touch with our charity anonymously, or the police if they don’t mind giving personal details, should they recognise anybody in this CCTV image and footage so they can be ruled out of the inquiry.

Our charity exists to give people a vital anonymous option if they prefer not to speak to the police or give any personal details. You can tell us what you know and we’ll pass it on for you.

“As a charity that is independent of the police, we have always kept our promise of anonymity – we’ve supported millions of people who have trusted us with their crucial crime information since we began in the late 1980s.

“Call our UK Contact Centre on freephone 0800 555 111, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or fill in our simple and secure anonymous online form on our website.
