London: Fatal shooting of young man in Feltham prompts our £20,000 reward
Four years since a young man was gunned down in a residential estate on the border of Crane Park in Feltham, west London, we are appealing for anonymous information and offering a reward to help catch the killer.
Edward Simpson was shot dead near a block of flats on Watermill Way on Friday 21 June 2019. Emergency services were called and arrived shortly after 11pm where the victim was found critically injured. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Edward died at the scene.
At the time, neighbours spoke of hearing gunshots and the victim’s terrifying screams.
A post-mortem found that Edward, who was from Spelthorne in Surrey, had been killed by a single gunshot to the upper body. The weapon used was a prohibited pump action 12 bore shotgun.
A number of arrests have been made. Police have told our charity that they are working on the theory that Edward was not the intended target but was caught in the middle of a feud between two rival drug dealers.
