Independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers is launching a campaign alongside the Post Office Ltd to clamp down on cash in transit robberies across the West Midlands.
The campaign, titled ‘We’re on their tail’, is being promoted across the region following a number of incidents that has seen Post Office cash in transit vehicles targeted, causing distress and disruption to the local community.
Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Crimestoppers and the Post Office are launching this campaign to appeal to the public for information they have on Post Office cash in transit vehicle robberies, with the promise that if people do come forward, their identity will never be revealed and no one will know they have made contact.
If you have any information on cash in transit vehicle robberies or a similar crime, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through the Anonymous Online Form.
