JaneFundraising is vital to us as a charity and there are many ways you can get involved in raising funds for our cause. Jane McCann, Chair of the West Mercia Committee undertook a Boxercise Challenge this summer to raise funds for the charity. Jane, who is in her 50's, delivered

5,000 punches over four one-hour sessions. The sessions took place over the four Thursdays in June and for those who are good at sums, that meant a target of 1,250 punches per session! Jane spent many hours preparing for the fundraising challenge through rigorous training with her personal trainer Mark Billau (see top left and right).

Prior to her role as Chair of the West Mercia Committee, Jane spent a a term as Committee Secretary and undertook domestic abuse campaigns and fundraising which included raising money through Waitrose's Community Matters Scheme last year.

On why she chose Crimestoppers as a charity to raise money for, Jane enthusiastically said;

"I chose Crimestoppers because they are a unique crime fighting charity!"
