Crimestoppers in Warwickshire is campaigning to make the public aware that they can come to Crimestoppers anonymously with information about crime
A nationally known and trusted charity, Crimestoppers is bringing its promise of anonymity to the people of Warwickshire. This initiative aims to make it clear to Warwickshire residents that:
- They can give information about crime anonymously to Crimestoppers
- Crimestoppers does not ask information givers to go to court
- If you call Crimestoppers, the call will not appear on your bill
- Crimestoppers is independent from the police
Crimestoppers takes information about a wide variety of crimes (see here for topics that we do not take information about), but as part of this campaign the charity is particularly interested in information about theft, burglary and the dealing of drugs.
Radio adverts, Posters on buses and billboards and social media warning that ‘thieves and burglars can no longer hide here’ will be promoted across the county giving what may be the only opportunity to people to come forward anonymously.
Those who have information about crime can give it through Crimestoppers Anonymous Online Form or by calling 0800 555 111 anonymously.
