Staffordshire committee serves the communities of South, Mid and North Staffordshire. Made up of Chair, Jayne Jones from Uttoxeter (seen below with Regional Manager Pauline Hadley and Staffordshire Police & Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis) and other volunteers, the Staffordshire committee is helping to engage with vulnerable communities around the county. Me Jayne And Matt Ellis

The committee is currently looking at encouraging people in Stoke on Trent to report local criminals who are blighting the areas where they live.

Become a ‘Crimestopper’ in Staffordshire and keep your community safe

We are appealing for enthusiastic members of the public to volunteer in Staffordshire to support the fight against crime in the county. If you have experience or skills in Marketing, PR, Fundraising, bookkeeping, Admin or with young people and would like to help your community in the fight against crime, please fill in the volunteer form and someone will get back to you for a chat.

The charity, which is currently in its 28th year, has a network of over 500 volunteers across the whole of the UK, and is seeking out willing individuals to join its growing family of crime fighters. Whether your expertise is in business, the media, or maybe even fundraising, we’d love to hear from you – all we ask is that you have a passion for your area and you share the same goals as we do – that everyone deserves to live in a community free of crime.

Crimestoppers Volunteer Vice Chair – Staffordshire

Our team is looking for a Volunteer Vice Chair to act as a support to the Chair, assisting with providing clear leadership and direction, and helping to develop the effectiveness of the committee to represent and fulfil the work and objectives of the charity in promoting the general awareness of Crimestoppers. 

You will have experience in chairing senior level meetings and the ability to assist the Chair with delivering high impact, verbal and written proposals and presentations.  You will also have good leadership skills and an interest in nurturing and leading other volunteers from varied backgrounds and with differing skills and experiences.  Consider this role as a step towards the Chairs role which changes every three years.

Crimestoppers Volunteer Fundraiser - Staffordshire

Our team is looking for a volunteer to act as Volunteer Fundraiser, helping the committee to generate the necessary funds to enable the committee to raise our Crimestoppers profile and cause within the community.  You would also be taking the lead on the committee’s fundraising and event planning, and helping to develop local business contacts.

We are looking for someone who ideally has professional experience in Fundraising, with specific fundraising skill and experience in event management.  Someone who is familiar with fundraising principles and able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the role.

Crimestoppers Marketing Volunteer

Our team is looking for a volunteer to take the lead on marketing and promotional activities for their committee.  As a Marketing Volunteer you would assist with planning and implementing the promotional plans for a number of projects and campaigns, including liaising with the local media and handling any PR requirements.

We are looking for someone who ideally has professional experience in marketing, with project management skills and experience of working with the media sector.  Someone who is familiar with marketing principles and able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the role.
