Dorset Crimestoppers are offering a substantial reward to find the hit-and-run driver who knocked down and killed 68 year old Christopher Colegate.
The incident occurred at around 7.25pm on Friday 13 December 2013 at the junction of Darby's Lane and Heath Avenue in Oakdale, Poole.
The police believe there were witnesses, other drivers in the immediate vicinity and people who may know the identity of the driver involved - who would have certainly been aware of the accident.
Mr Colegate was frail and used two walking sticks to aid his mobility. He suffered significant injuries which caused his death. There is a reward of up to £1,000 for the person who is able to identify the culprit that leads to a successful prosecution.
