Reward of up to £10,000 offered for information on Shoreham robbery

Alongside Post Office Limited we are today offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information on a robbery at a Post Office branch in Shoreham.

A substantial amount of currency, including Sterling and Euros, were stolen during the incident at the Brunswick Road shop on Friday, 22 January.

Staff threatened

Two men are believed to have broken into the branch at around 5.25pm before threatening a member of staff with a crowbar. No-one was injured.

The Post Office and Crimestoppers are now offering the reward for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the culprits.*

Julia Hughes, Regional Manager for Crimestoppers in Sussex, said: “A substantial amount of money was taken during this incident and it is imperative that the culprits are caught.

Descriptions

One suspect is described as white, 5’8 with a slim build and stubble. He was wearing a balaclava, blue padded jacket and black tracksuit bottoms with pink underwear. The other was also wearing a balaclava and a dark jacket with grey sleeves. He was carrying a hi-vis satchel.
