stolen-goods-postcard

Scotland Crimestoppers is asking members of the public to pass on information anonymously about who is responsible for housebreaking or selling stolen goods in Edinburgh.

The focus of the campaign, which is being actioned in Edinburgh, is "What price did you pay?". The launch follows a sharp increase in housebreaking and handling of stolen goods.

We will be leafleting the City of Edinburgh with posters and postcards alerting residents and retailers to housebreaking and the subsequent passing of stolen goods. The impact of housebreaking should not be underestimated. Victims can be left traumatised; terrified that the intruder may return or feel bereft at the loss of sentimental, irreplaceable items.

"Help us to help others recover property and stop this crime in your community"
