We've launched a campaign in Oldham to tackle the issues of drugs supply, and to tackle gangs using violence and intimidation.

Penrith Drugs _Page _1

We're asking local people to pass on information to us as a charity, completely anonymously, about those supplying drugs in the area, and about gang activity - we're offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charge of offenders in Oldham.

We're promoting this campaign via our Facebook page - if you've come to this page via social media and you've some information you'd like to pass on whilst remaining anonymous, you can follow this link right now to tell us what you know, safely and securely; no one will ever know you told us.

Remember - these people don't care how much damage they cause to individual lives or the community.

Our campaign seeks to encourage the public to speak up about those who are damaging their community, ruining lives and preying on the vulnerable. Please contact us anonymously about drug dealing or about those who are carrying out other serious crimes in your area. With your help we can make a difference.

Gary Murray, North West Regional Manager for Crimestoppers, said:

"People want to feel safe in their local area, so the fact there are drugs coming into the region, and that gangs are using violence and intimidation to carry out their activities is worrying for local residents.

“We want to ensure our streets are free of drugs, and we need your help. Information passed to us is completely anonymous, so nobody will know you have contacted us."

Please note that information passed directly to the police will not qualify for a reward.
