The Hertfordshire Crimestoppers volunteers have again been out into the local Hertfordshire community to shout about the incredible work of Crimestoppers which is the UK’s only independent crime fighting charity.

Two dedicated Crimestoppers Hertfordshire volunteers Anji and Nila attended Aldenham Prep School's annual Summer Fair where the Belgium chocolate fountain was a huge success and attracted many visitors young and old. Whilst they were enjoying the wonderful chocolate treats, Anji and Nila were able to promote Crimestoppers and explain how the charity helps to find criminals and help solve crimes.

CS Stall - Aldenham Summer Fair 2

Due to the unpredictable weather, for the first time the Summer Fair was held in the School Sports Hall.  Luckily the weather was good enough for Vicky Gocher, Head of Aldenham Prep School, to co-ordinate the impressive balloon release. The event was a huge success and enjoyed by all.

There was an array of stalls on the day which included Costco, jewellery, worldwide culinary delights, clothes, a coconut shy and 'guess the penny in a jar'. Visitors were also entertained by the talented Morris dancers and an enjoyable brass band.

All donations made to Crimestoppers on the day will go towards a county-wide campaign which will help increase the awareness of Crimestoppers in Hertfordshire.
