Reward of up to £10,000 offered for information on anniversary of Chris May murder

31 May 2016

We are offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information regarding the murder of Chris May on the one year anniversary of his disappearance.

Chris, 28, was last seen at his father’s home in Coggeshall on the morning of Monday 25 May 2015; however, circumstances mean that this is now being treated as murder despite no body having been found.

The charity Crimestoppers is now offering the reward of up to £10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.*

Chris's family are desparate for answers

Antonia Litten, Crimestoppers’ Eastern Regional Manager, said:

“A man of 28 should not have had his life taken away, Christopher still had so many years ahead of him.

“The effect on his family has been devastating and they are desperate for answers, which is why I would ask anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers anonymously. We don’t ask for any personal details, you won’t have to speak to the police, and you won’t have to go to court. Just tell us what you know, not who you are.”

If you have any information, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through our Anonymous Online Form.

*Note: The reward will only qualify if information is passed to Crimestoppers’ 0800 555 111 number or anonymous online form. Information passed directly to police will not qualify.
