We are offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information after a man was shot in the leg through a bedroom door by intruders at his home in Sible Hedingham, Essex.

The victim, in his 40s, was left with life-changing injuries after the incident at The Old Rectory in the early hours of Saturday, February 6. He is still in hospital where doctors are battling to save his leg.

We are offering the reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Essex Police have released an efit (above) of a man who may have valuable information.

He was seen by a passer-by sitting in a car with another man parked up in a lay-by on Wethersfield Road, between Sible Hedingham and the Blackmore End turning, at around 1.50am on the day of the break-in.
