Insurance broker Joshua Saggers, from Colchester, is taking on the London Marathon to raise money for us.

He said: “I picked Crimestoppers because they help keep communities safe from crime and that’s really important to me.”
Tough training
Joshua, 27, has already reached 18 miles through a tough training regime – which even includes running in water.
He explained: “To keep my fitness levels up I’m now deep water running with a buoyancy aid around my waist for 40 mins every other day. I also do spin classes twice a week. I’ve been keeping to a healthy diet and trying to avoid alcohol, which is very difficult. I always need my chocolate fix though.”
Fighting fit
Despite recently suffering an injury, Joshua hopes to be fit and ready for the marathon on April 24.
He said: “I’m very excited and I can’t wait for the race. My motivation is to get the best time out of everyone I know running. I want to show myself, family and friends that I really can push myself.”
