We operate the 0800 555 111 number and the Anonymous Online Form for anyone to give information about crime anonymously. As a service we are highly effective with around 14 people arrested and charged every day as a result of information given to us, and one person every eight days charged with murder.

Crimestoppers is the leading crime-fighting charity in the UK and the only organisation to guarantee anonymity to the 360,000 people contacting us each year with information that could lead to arrests. We are passionate about protecting everyone in society, especially the most vulnerable – the young the old, BMEs and the disabled – who often don’t have a voice.

Our Fearless team currently has a vacancy for a:

Fearless Worker - Warwickshire & West Mercia

£8,884.20 pa

15 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2018

Fearless is the youth brand for Crimestoppers UK, the only national crime reduction charity. Our work is focused on helping young people make informed decisions about reporting crime.

We have a really important message; we don’t want any young person to live with, or in fear of, crime so we provide awareness workshops and the ability to report crime anonymously, without having to go to the police. Fearless is recruiting a part-time outreach worker to deliver this message to young people in Warwickshire & West Mercia.

Working 15 hours per week, you will work with young people in a variety of settings including schools and youth groups delivering age-appropriate workshops. So we are looking for someone who is dynamic, passionate and has a natural ability to engage young people.

Alongside this you will contribute to our professionals' training – we’ve already trained 2,000 professionals to deliver the Fearless message to the young people that they work with, and we want to expand this effort across Warwickshire and West Mercia.

We are looking for an individual with a creative flair, to help us maximise our use of social networking to expand our reach, so an interest in creative media production would be an asset.

As you will regularly come in to contact with young people, the successful applicants will be asked to complete a Disclosure & Barring Service application.

To download a job description, please click here (PDF).

To apply, please submit your Covering Letter & CV to recruitment@crimestoppers-uk.org by 17:00 on Sunday 13 August 2017.
