Stoke: New campaign appealing for information on knife carriers

Stoke knife crime campaign

We are running a campaign to remind local people in Stoke that they can report knife crime information 100% anonymously and securely via our unique service.

As a charity independent of the police, we are a safe, alternative option to report information on crime. This campaign encourages those who know someone who regularly carries a knife, to tell our charity 100% anonymously - either online or by calling 0800 555 111 at any time.

The dangers of young people carrying a knife are also being highlighted with advice on how they can keep themselves safe. It will remind them that they can speak up anonymously about suspicious activity they see or know about via Fearless.org. Fearless is the youth service of Crimestoppers.

“Some people have information about crime but feel they don’t have anywhere or anyone to turn to. Please remember that Crimestoppers is here to help. We do not judge or take any personal details from those that contact us. All we want is the information you have. You will remain 100% anonymous. Always.

“Our charity can be contacted 24/7 to report crime anonymously by ringing 0800 555 111 or by completing an online form.

“Young people are encouraged to visit Fearless.org to get information about crime. They can also use the site to report any suspicious activity 100% anonymously, should they not wish to speak to the police or a trusted adult. Crimestoppers and Fearless are here to help.”
